Anjali Singh has been actively involved since 2005 in the family business. In 2009, Anjali became a member of the apex governing body of the Group, The ANAND Supervisory Board after spending four years in various fields like building strategic customer relationships, joint venture partner relationships and at Group Corporate Functions and finally elected Chairperson in 2011, succeeding her father Mr. Deep C. Anand. Anjali holds direct responsibility for the partnerships, governance and strategic direction of the Group. She has been elected as Chairperson of Gabriel India Limited in 2015, the 55-year-old publically listed flagship company of the Group and a pioneer of ride control products in India.
Anjali completed her bachelor’s degree from the prestigious Central Martin’s School of Art and Design in London and master’s degree in Fine Art from the same institution. Anjali did a course in Business Management from the University of Westminster.
Forbes Asia listed her in the “2016 Power Business Women”, as among the 12 young business leaders on the rise in Asia. She has been honoured with Women Achievers Award in 2016 by FICCI.
Mrs. Singh is also actively involved with the expansion of SUJÁN along with Mr. Jaisal Singh, her husband, and plays the vital role of Creative Director – conceptualizing and designing the properties as well as enhancing the brand. Currently SUJÁN has five distinct experiences on offer: Sher Bagh, Ranthambhore; The Serai, Jaisalmer; JAWAI Jawai Bandh; Elephant Pepper Camp, Masai Mara, Kenya and the SUJÁN Rajmahal Palace in Jaipur. All four SUJÁN’s properties in India are members of Relais & Châteaux, an association of the world’s finest hotels, hoteliers and grand chefs.
She is a member on Rajasthan Crafts Council and Executive Committee under the Chairpersonship of Hon’ble Chief Minister of Rajasthan. She is also a member of ACMA- Sustainable Technology Development Committee.
Anjali Singh is a co-author of “Ranthambhore – The Tiger’s Realm” along with Mr. Jaisal Singh & Ms. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra which was published in 2011, most recently co-author of “JAWAI – Land of the Leopard” along with Mr. Jaisal Singh which was published in 2016. She remains active in the creative space through art & photography and conservation.
Mrs. Anjali Singh is the Executive Chairperson of ANAND Group. She also currently chairs the Group Supervisory Board, the group’s apex governing body that looks into key areas including partnerships, corporate governance and the strategic direction the group plans to take in the future. She is also the Executive Chairperson of the ANAND Executive Board.
At the group company’s level, she is the Executive Chairperson of Gabriel India Limited, the 60-year-old public-listed flagship company of the group known for pioneering the ride control products industry in India. She is the Chairperson of Dana Anand India, a joint venture between ANAND Group and Dana Incorporated, USA.
Demonstrating strong industry connect, Anjali holds key portfolios in various industry bodies. She serves as an Executive Committee Member of the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA) and chairs its ‘Strategic Partnerships’ Pillar 4. She is also a member of the ACMA Western Region Committee.
She also holds various positions in the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). She serves as the Vice Chairperson of the CII Haryana State Council. She is also a Member of the CII Northern Regional Council, and co-chairs the CII Northern Regional Committee on Advanced Manufacturing. She is serves as a Member of the CII International Council and a Member of the Governing Body of CII-CSM (VLFM) Initiative. She is also a Member of the India-Japan Business Leaders Forum (IJBLF). She is a Member of the Tata Motors Supplier Council.
As an outstanding alumnus of the Aiglon College, Anjali has also recently been appointed as an Ordinary Member of the Aiglon College Association of the school.

Since the early 2000s, SUJÁN has had a presence in the rural hinterlands of Rajasthan state. Through its outreach programmes in association with SNSF, it aims at preserving and restoring wilderness areas as well as improving the quality of life among the local communities. Anjali also serves as a Trustee on the Board of Deep C Anand Educational Trust which runs the ANAND School in Parwanoo, Himachal Pradesh. The purpose of the ANAND school is to develop young citizens of the world to be equipped for the future, with a holistic outlook of arts, culture, sports, social skills and of course academic excellence.
Anjali has been associated with the Rajasthan Crafts Council as an Executive Committee Member under the chairpersonship of the Former Chief Minister of Rajasthan, and a member of Saat Saath Arts Foundation. Both of these organisations aim to see India’s contemporary art find its rightful place in India and internationally. She has co-authored ‘Ranthambhore – The Tiger’s Realm’ along with Mr. Jaisal Singh and Ms. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra which was published in 2011. Manoj Kolhatkar, Group President, is one of the two Co-Chief Operating Officers of the Group. He is a member of the ANAND Executive Board and Managing Director of the Group’s flagship, Gabriel India. Manoj is directly responsible and accountable to the ANAND Executive Board for the following Group companies: Gabriel India; Faurecia Clean Mobility – a joint venture between ANAND and Faurecia Clean Mobility France; Valeo Friction Materials India – ANAND’s joint venture with Valeo France; both joint venture companies with CY Myutec, Korea, namely ANAND CY Myutec Automotive and CY Myutec ANAND; as well as Anchemco and Ansysco. In addition, he will continue to head Business Development and Materials for the Group.
He is also a member of the ANAND Management Forum, which oversees operational issues for the Group.
Having spent over 22 years with the TATA Group, Manoj has amassed more than two decades of experience in the automotive industry. He joined ANAND in June 2011.
As the CEO of Tata Yazaki, one of India’s leading wiring harness manufacturers, he was responsible for turning around the company in a short time. Under his leadership, the organisation set up four plants and registered a growth of >140% in two years.
Earlier, Manoj served as the CEO of TACO – Interiors and Plastics division, where he played a pivotal role in introducing several new technologies, some of which were implemented for the first time in the country. Manoj is a graduate of engineering from Nagpur University and a degree in Business Management from the University of Pune.
Mr. Jagdish Kumar, Group President, is the Group’s Chief Financial Officer and a member of the ANAND Executive Board. He is the Chairman of Henkel ANAND India, a joint venture between ANAND and Henkel AG & Co. KGaA, Germany, and a Director on the Board of Joyson ANAND Abhishek Safety Systems, a joint venture with Joyson Safety Systems, USA; he is responsible and accountable to the ANAND Executive Board for both these companies. Group’s Finance, Legal & Secretariat, Corporate Strategy & Planning and IT, report to Jagdish, who also holds the position of Managing Director of ANAND Automotive.
Jagdish is a member of the ANAND Management Forum which oversees operational issues for the group. He is also member of the Group’s Strategic Growth Council, including Mergers & Acquisitions.
Jagdish joined ANAND Group in September 2015. Prior to this, Jagdish was the Regional Director, Strategy and M&A, Asia-Pacific for DuPont. He joined DuPont in 1998 as Director – finance & planning of the South Asian operations and Chief Financial Officer for the Asia-Pacific region for automotive paints business. Subsequently, he moved on to lead multiple businesses in South Asia and the Asia-Pacific in the Printing and Packaging markets for DuPont, including a 5-year stint in Shanghai as Asia-Pacific leader of the Packaging Graphics business for DuPont.
Prior to joining DuPont, Jagdish worked for Tata Consultancy Services and Ballarpur Industries Limited, based in Delhi, as head of finance and M&A. He has a vast experience in leadership and board management roles across the Asia-Pacific region in a career spanning over 33 years. Jagdish did his B. Com (Honours) from Shri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi, and PGDM from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, specialisation in finance and marketing.
Mr. Pradeep Banerjee is Non-executive Independent Director of Gabriel India Limited since December 2017. He is also on the board of other Public Limited Companies, viz. Whirlpool of India Limited, Chambal Fertilisers and Chemicals Ltd., Jubilant Ingrevia Ltd. and Parksons Packaging Limited.
Pradeep is Bachelor of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, graduating with distinction in Chemical Technology. He was associated with Unilever since 1980, has worked across geographies (London, Singapore, India) and functions (Marketing, R&D, and Manufacturing, Procurement and Supply Chain). Prior to his superannuation in December 2019, he was, since April 2010, the Executive Director on the Board of HUL and Vice President for Supply Chain for Unilever in South Asia (India, Pakistan Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Nepal). Currently, he is a Senior Advisor to BCG, on the boards of some listed and unlisted companies and is advising 4 interesting Tech Start-ups in the areas of AI, Blockchain, Logistics and Waste Management.
Ms. Matangi Gowrishankar brings more than three decades of experience as a business, Human Resources and Change Management specialist. Passionate about Leadership and Organisation Development she has a track record in organisation transformation and talent management, both in India and overseas.
She has worked with several large multinational organisations like Standard Chartered Bank, Reebok, GE, Cummins Inc and, most recently, with the British Oil Major BP plc where her last assignment was Global Head of Capability Development and Director of the Leadership Academy. She has an extensive and diverse experience having lived and worked in the UK and Singapore with a broad geographical remit across several countries.
Matangi has a BA in Sociology and a post-graduate qualification in Human Resources from XLRI, a premier educational institution in India. She is a certified coach from the Neuroleadership Institute Australia and a member of the ICF.
Matangi has her own Executive Coaching & Organisation Development practice. She also holds several non-executive independent directorships with listed and public companies in India across diverse industries.
Mrs. Pallavi Joshi Bakhru, is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and Member of Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs. Currently, she is the Head of the Private Client Service offering at Grant Thornton in India and heads the UK Corridor. She has over 30 years of experience spanning solutions and clients in different sectors. She was the Head of Tax at a large natural resources group for 5 years and assisted with growth strategies.
In 2015, Pallavi was recognised as one of the Top 10 Women in Tax in India by the International Tax Review. Her specialities include corporate tax, litigation, including being a part of a team that ran an international arbitration under Bilateral Investment Treaty (BIT), tax structuring and regulatory matters pertaining to FEMA.
Over the years, she has simplified the global structure of some large groups, institutionalised a royalty payment system, resolved some high-pitched tax litigation and done advocacy. She works closely with Promoters and CXO’s on critical aspects of business, including decisions related to business restructuring, choice of senior counsels for representation in key litigation, she has helped in re-organising few businesses and take their geographic footprint overseas.
She has experience of natural resources, consumer and retail, aviation, manufacturing and education. Pallavi is also on the boards of other companies as an Independent / Non-executive Director.
Ms. Mahua Acharya is the Chief of Staff at CQuest Capital, LLC. Prior to this, she served as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of state-owned energy transition company, Convergence Energy Services Limited of the Government of India, where she led electric mobility initiatives for India, and significantly, the largest and most unprecedented electric bus programme across the world that yielded prices that are lower than diesel. Her ground-breaking work in the sector garnered international recognition.
With over two decades of experience, Acharya has made significant contributions to green finance, renewable energy, and carbon markets across multiple countries. She previously held positions at the 29-country intergovernmental agency, the Global Green Growth Institute, and the World Bank, where she played a pioneering role in the carbon market.
She is a cofounder of the Ashoka Centre for a People Centric Energy Transition, co-founder faculty of an executive education program at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, serves on the boards of multiple international entities and has appeared on international and Indian listings of women in leadership. She holds a Masters’s degree from Yale University, further solidifying her expertise in the energy and environmental sectors.
