2013

  • 2013:
    • Launched a full-fledged R&D centre 2 – Wheelers in Hosur
    • Expanded presence in China by inaugurating the Ningbo office
    • Commissioned the first robotic shock absorber line at Hosur

 

2014

  • 2014:
    • Mrs. Anjali Singh, Chairperson of Group Supervisory Board, appointed as the Chairperson of Gabriel India’s Board of Directors
    • Established 4 strategic business units for 2 & 3 – Wheelers, Passenger Cars, Commercial Vehicles & Railways and aftermarket
    • Signed a technology license agreement with KONI BV (part of ITT Corporation), the Netherlands, for manufacturing suspensions for commercial vehicles, buses and industrial equipment
    • Second Innovation Concourse at Chakan inaugurated by the Late Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, former President of India, eminent scientist and Bharat Ratna awardee

2016

  • 2016:
    • Became a technology provider to Gabriel De Colombia
    • Raked in record sales of Rs. 200 Cr. in the aftermarket segment
    • Began exporting customised machines, built in-house with indigenous technology, for manufacturing shock absorbers to Torre Industries, South Africa
    • Received approval to manufacture Linke Hofmann Busch dampers for high-speed trains from the Indian Railways

 

2017

  • 2017:
    • Won the Supplier Excellence award from SML Isuzu Limited (Dewas)
    • Inaugurated a solar power plant at Khandsa
    • Installed a 182-kilowatt solar park at Dewas
    • Bagged the Gold Award for quality from Lohia Auto Industries
    • Received the Zero PPM Quality award from Toyota Kirloskar Motor

  • 2020:
    • Gabriel India, Chakan plant, won the ‘Gold Award’ at the Regional Quality Circle Competition, hosted by Toyota Kirloskar Suppliers Association in Pune.
    • Gabriel India, Nashik plant, is recognised as the winner in the category ‘Best of Manufacturing’ at the Quality Circle Forum of India – Chapter Convention Competition 2019; the team also received two ‘Gold Awards’ for the Kaizen Competition at the same event held in Aurangabad.
    • Gabriel India received the Delivery Management award from Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI), at their 21st Supplier Convention 2020. The award was presented by Mr. Harbhajan Singh, Director, General and Corporate Affairs, HMSI.
    • Gabriel India, Chakan Team, ‘Spartans’, emerged as the winners at the National Level Toyota Kirloskar Suppliers Association Quality Circle Competition.
    • Gabriel India, Chakan plant, received the prestigious Zero PPM, Best Quality Certificate from Toyota India for 2019. This award is given in recognition of the outstanding performance for achieving Zero Defect Supplies during 2019.
