Mr. Sunil Kaul,Group President – Technology, Innovation & Automation, ANAND, is also a member of the ANAND Executive Committee, responsible for directing all policy matters at ANAND. He is also a member of the ANAND Management Committee which oversees operational issues for the Group.
Sunil is also responsible for overseeing operations for MAHLE ANAND Thermal Systems Private Limited, MAHLE ANAND Filter Systems Private Limited, Haldex India Limited, ANAND CY Myutec Automotive Private Limited and CY Myutec ANAND Private Limited as a member of the ANAND Executive Committee. Additionally, he is the chairman of the boards of Haldex India Limited, ANAND CY Myutec Automotive Private Limited and CY Myutec ANAND Private Limited and is a member on the Board of Takata India.
As Group President – Technology, Innovation and Automation, Sunil is responsible to direct and steer the technological prowess and innovation focus of the Group as a whole, ensuring ANAND is aligned and adequately equipped to face the challenges of the future. An extremely able and dynamic leader, Sunil has been an integral member of ANAND for the past 27 years and has held various positions of increasing responsibility through his tenure.
Sunil holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Certificate in Management Education Networking from the Stuttgart Institute of Management & Technology. Sunil joined ANAND in 1985 at Purolator India. He subsequently moved to MAHLE ANAND Thermal Systems in 1996, right at the inception of the Joint Venture. Between 1999 and 2004, Sunil spent five years on deputation to Mahle Behr, Germany, where he spent the initial two years being actively involved in the Product and Process engineering of EGR technology. Subsequently, he spent the next three years heading production at Pforzheim, besides also being responsible for the transfer of the oldest line (condensers and evaporators) from Pforzheim to what was back the plant in East Germany. Sunil returned to India in 2004 to re-join MAHLE ANAND Thermal Systems, and was subsequently appointed managing director from 2009 till 2016, where he undertook several challenging projects.
