Overview

ANAND Group and Mando Corporation collaborated for the first time in 1997 with the setting up of Mando Automotive India Private Limited (MAIL) to manufacture state-of-the-art brake systems. In order to capitalise on the emerging opportunity in the 2 & 3 – Wheelers Powertrain electrification, both partners felt that it was the right time to enter into the components and systems market in India and set up a new Joint Venture Company called ANAND Mando eMobility to cater to the demand in the e-mobility segment for a locally manufactured good quality and reliable traction motor and controller.

The Joint Venture (JV) was set up in July 2021, and within nine months, it has started production to deliver its first component.
 

ANAND Mando eMobility is engaged in designing, developing and manufacturing the Traction Motor and Controller for the emerging 2 & 3 – Wheelers Electric Vehicle (EV) market. The company aims at providing localised parts for EVs as an alternative to imported components.
