She is from a remote village named Sena in Jawai region, her family comprises of five sisters and farmer parents earning ₹10K monthly from their small farm.
Her determination to pursue higher education and be a helping hand to her family led her to the Medhavi Scholarship in year 2019.
Durga graduated with 83.2% from Shanti Suri Polytechnic College, Udaipur. She also took RS-CIT (Rajasthan State Certificate course in Information Technology) better career growth.
With facilitation from SNSF she joined ACYM, Gurgaon on 08th Feb’24 as a OET (Operating Engineer Trainee)
Her monthly income is ₹ 14.7K, increasing family’s monthly income from 10K to 24.7K. (147%)
With her income, she is able to support her sisters’ education and the family.
