- Santosh’s family comprises his father, mother and elder sister.
- His father is a farmer and mother is a homemaker.
- With 2 acres of agriculture land his father was still struggling to meet the family expenses.
- Meanwhile Santosh’s sister was awarded with SNSF’s Medhavi Scholarship to pursue Dip. Engg., but Santosh not willing to continue his education after 12th td. So he joined the Machining and Quality Technician Course at SNSF through his sister’s reference.
- Post-training he joined Vijaylaxmi Gears as an Operator and started earning ₹ 9K per month.
- With this his family monthly income has increased from ₹5K to ₹ 14K(180%).
- Now his sister has also completed her Dip. Engg. and joined found employment at ₹ 21K per month.
- With this overall increase in the family monthly income is from ₹ 5K to ₹ 35K (600%) .
