Micro-Entrepreneurship @ Village Koregoan BK (Chakan)

• Sarika Lawnage is a member of the Shree Ganesha Self Help Group, Village Koregaon BK, formed by SNSF in August 2022. There are 6 members in her family. Her husband works in Chakan MIDC, earning ₹ 13K per month. Sarika is also president of Swabhiman Gramsangh (representative body of several self help groups), Koregoan B K .
• Eager to start her own livelihood activities, Sarika availed a loan facilitated by SNSF and started a shop selling sarees and other products at her house in August’23. Furthermore, she started making organic, chemical-free handmade turmeric powder and selling in market. Sarika actively participated in the SHG product exhibition organised by SNSF at Mahle ANAND Thermal System (MATS), Chakan.
