STATUS OF SCHOOL BEFORE THE PROJECT
SNSF began collaborating with the school in 2015, addressing its critical infrastructure & teachers’ needs. The school, with 181 students and 5 teachers, originally had 5 classrooms, 2 of which were in poor condition, and required 8 classrooms to meet the ideal status.

STATUS OF SCHOOL BEFORE THE PROJECT
DAIPL committed to a phased infrastructure improvement project from 2015-16 to 2023-24, excluding 2018-19, which included upgrading facilities and providing additional teachers for regular and remedial education.
Yearly Enhancements: 2015-16: Completed electrical repairs and ground leveling. 2016-17 to 2019-20: Built 3 new classrooms, one each year. 2021-22: Constructed separate washrooms for boys and girls. 2022-23 & 2023-24: Added 2 more classrooms, one each year.
Special coaching led to 11 students (as of August 2024) qualifying for specialized schools—7 for Morarji Desai Residential Schools and 4 for Adarsh English Medium Schools. 12 children of DAIPL’s casual workers are now enrolled in the school, benefiting
Motivated by DAIPL’s initiatives, the School Management Committee, in partnership with the Gram Panchayat of G Basavankoppa, paved the school grounds and replaced two old classrooms with new ones funded by the MLA.
The school has achieved its ideal state with one classroom per class. Enrolment has increased from 181 in 2014 to 208 in July’23. Principal Mrs. Shashikala Karate praised the efforts, stating, “CSR initiatives have significantly improved student enrollment and the school’s presence in the village.”
